Women's Wellness & Menopause

Our Women's Wellness & Menopause collection gathers nine plants for women in every season of life, including menopause. Each is an alcohol-free tincture made with Extranatur, our patented alcohol-free extraction method, always prepared from the dried plant.

  • Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa, also Cimicifuga racemosa), rhizome: a woodland plant of eastern North America, found in 19th-century American herbals.
  • Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus), fruit: a Mediterranean shrub whose peppery berries were called “monk's pepper” in medieval Europe.
  • Shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris), herb: a wayside plant named for its heart-shaped seed pods.
  • Red clover (Trifolium pratense), herb with flowers: a European meadow plant, grown for centuries as fodder.
  • Dong quai (Angelica sinensis), root: a relative of European angelica with centuries of history in Chinese herbal tradition.
  • Lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris), herb: named for its scalloped, cloak-like leaves, where medieval alchemists gathered dew.
  • Sage (Salvia officinalis), leaf: among the plants Charlemagne ordered grown on his estates around the year 800.
  • Raspberry (Rubus idaeus), leaf: from the familiar garden raspberry, long brewed as a household tea in Europe and North America.
  • Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca), herb with flowers: a tall member of the mint family; Leonurus means “lion's tail.”
