Immune Support

Our Immune Support collection gathers eight botanicals from herbal traditions across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Each is an alcohol-free tincture made with Extranatur, our patented alcohol-free extraction method, prepared from the dried plant; propolis is extracted from the resin collected by bees.

  • Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia and E. purpurea), root and herb: a North American prairie flower, part of the herbal tradition of the Plains peoples.
  • Black elder (Sambucus nigra), flower and fruit: a hedgerow tree of European folklore; its flowers and berries go into cordials and syrups.
  • Propolis, resin: its name comes from the Greek for “before the city,” as bees use it at the entrance of the hive.
  • Acerola (Malpighia glabra), fruit: the West Indian cherry, a small red fruit of the Caribbean and tropical Americas.
  • Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus), root: huang qi, or “yellow leader,” in Chinese tradition.
  • South African pelargonium (Pelargonium sidoides), root: a small pelargonium from the grasslands of South Africa and Lesotho.
  • Green chiretta (Andrographis paniculata), tops: called kalmegh in India and nicknamed “king of bitters” for its taste.
  • Cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa), bark: an Amazonian vine named for its hooked thorns, uña de gato in Spanish.
