Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis)

Dong quai, also known as Chinese angelica, is a plant of the Apiaceae family, the same as carrot and fennel. It is native to China; Naturalma products use its roots.

On this page you'll find all Naturalma products made with dong quai roots:

  • Alcohol-free mother tincture: dong quai roots (10%) in vegetable glycerine and water, obtained with Extranatur, Naturalma's patented extraction method. The label dose is 40 drops (2 ml) in a glass of water, one to three times a day; 2 ml contain 200 mg of dong quai. 60 and 120 ml bottles.
  • Alcoholic mother tincture: a low-strength hydroalcoholic tincture, closer to herbal tradition, with dong quai roots (10%). 120 ml bottle.
  • Tablets: dong quai roots (50%), jars of 120 and 300 tablets. 4 tablets contain 1000 mg of dong quai.

Good to know before use. Both versions of the dong quai mother tincture and the tablets are for adult use only and should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. You'll find the full warnings on each product page.

Tinctures and tablets are food supplements. Naturalma mother tinctures are made to our own recipe by specialist laboratories, always starting from the dried plant.
