Star of Bethlehem – Bach Flowers (Ornithogalum umbellatum)

Star of Bethlehem is one of the 38 emotional flowers or Bach flowers. It is made from the flowers of star-of-Bethlehem (Ornithogalum umbellatum). Bach placed it in the group ‘Discouragement and despondency’.

According to Bach, this is the flower for the times after a hard blow or a loss, when you need comfort. The flowers of the star-of-Bethlehem open in the sun and close again in the evening.

On this page you'll find Star of Bethlehem in both Naturalma versions, in a 30 ml amber glass bottle:

• With brandy: the original preparation, with water and alcohol from brandy.
• Alcohol-free: with vegetable glycerine and water, for those who prefer it without alcohol.

Both versions contain the same star-of-Bethlehem flowers: only the base is different. The directions on the label are the same for both versions: 4 drops directly into the mouth, one to three times a day, at any time.

All 38 Bach flowers are on the Bach Flowers page.
