White Chestnut – Bach Flowers (Aesculus hippocastanum)

White Chestnut is one of the 38 emotional flowers or Bach flowers. It is made from the flowers of the horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum). Bach placed it in the group ‘Not enough interest in the present’.

According to Bach, this is the flower for thoughts that go round in circles, like a record on repeat, leaving no room for quiet. White Chestnut uses the flowers of the horse-chestnut; Chestnut Bud uses the buds of the same tree.

On this page you'll find White Chestnut in both Naturalma versions, in a 30 ml amber glass bottle:

  • With brandy: the original preparation, with water and alcohol from brandy.
  • Alcohol-free: with vegetable glycerine and water, for those who prefer it without alcohol.

Both versions contain the same horse-chestnut flowers: only the base is different. The directions on the label are the same for both versions: 4 drops directly into the mouth, one to three times a day, at any time.

All 38 Bach flowers are on the Bach Flowers page.
