Heather – Bach Flowers (Calluna vulgaris)

Heather is one of the 38 emotional flowers or Bach flowers. It is made from the flowers of common heather, also known as ling (Calluna vulgaris). Bach placed it in the group ‘Loneliness’.

According to Bach, this is the flower for anyone who constantly seeks other people's company to talk about themselves, and finds it hard to spend time on their own. Heather turns the moors pink and purple at the end of summer.

You can choose between two versions, both in a 30 ml amber glass bottle:

  • With brandy: the original preparation, with water and alcohol from brandy.
  • Alcohol-free: with vegetable glycerine and water, for those who prefer it without alcohol.

The directions on the label are the same for both versions: 4 drops directly into the mouth, one to three times a day, at any time.

On the Bach Flowers page you'll find all 38 flowers, divided into Bach's seven groups.
