Acerola (Malpighia glabra)

Acerola is a shrub of the Malpighiaceae family. Its fruits, used in Naturalma products, are small, glossy red berries that look like cherries.

On this page you'll find all Naturalma products made with acerola fruits:

  • Alcohol-free mother tincture: acerola fruits (20%) in vegetable glycerine and water, with vitamin C, obtained with Extranatur, Naturalma's patented extraction method. The label dose is 40 drops (2 ml) in a glass of water, one to three times a day; 2 ml contain 400 mg of acerola and 60 mg of vitamin C (75% of the nutrient reference values). 60 and 120 ml bottles.
  • Alcoholic mother tincture: a low-strength hydroalcoholic tincture, closer to herbal tradition, with acerola fruits (20%) and vitamin C. 120 ml bottle.

Good to know before use. The alcoholic acerola mother tincture is for adult use only and should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The alcohol-free tincture carries no specific warnings beyond those common to all food supplements. You'll find the full warnings on each product page.

Tinctures are food supplements. Naturalma mother tinctures are made to our own recipe by specialist laboratories, always starting from the dried plant.
