Water Violet – Bach Flowers (Hottonia palustris)

Water Violet is one of the 38 emotional flowers or Bach flowers. It is made from the flowers of the water violet (Hottonia palustris). Bach placed it in the group ‘Loneliness’.

According to Bach, this is the flower for anyone who loves privacy and independence, and sometimes withdraws into an aloofness that keeps others away. Despite its name, it isn't a violet: it's a plant of still water, related to the primrose.

On this page you'll find Water Violet in both Naturalma versions, in a 30 ml amber glass bottle:

• With brandy: the original preparation, with water and alcohol from brandy.
• Alcohol-free: with vegetable glycerine and water, for those who prefer it without alcohol.

Both versions contain the same water violet flowers: only the base is different. The directions on the label are the same for both versions: 4 drops directly into the mouth, one to three times a day, at any time.
