Elm – Bach Flowers (Ulmus procera)

Elm is one of the 38 emotional flowers or Bach flowers. It is made from the flowers of the English elm (Ulmus procera). Bach placed it in the group ‘Discouragement and despondency’.

According to Bach, this is the flower for anyone who is usually capable and confident but, at some point, feels overwhelmed by their commitments. The elm blossoms in late winter, with small red flowers that appear before the leaves.

You can choose between two versions, both in a 30 ml amber glass bottle:

  • With brandy: the original preparation, with water and alcohol from brandy.
  • Alcohol-free: with vegetable glycerine and water, for those who prefer it without alcohol.

The directions on the label are the same for both versions: 4 drops directly into the mouth, one to three times a day, at any time.

On the Bach Flowers page you'll find all 38 flowers, divided into Bach's seven groups.
